3 Product Overview

GXTR302 is a high-precision, low-power digital temperature sensor with SMBus and I²C interfaces. In addition to measuring its own local temperature, it can simultaneously monitor temperatures from up to two remote sensing diodes. It is typically used for real-time temperature monitoring of complex systems such as MCU, GPU and FPGA. Equipped with series resistance cancellation, programmable η factor correction, programmable temperature offset correction and programmable temperature limits, GXTR302 delivers a reliable high-precision, low-power temperature monitoring solution.

The local channel and two remote channels of GXTR302 can be independently programmed. An alarm will be triggered when the measured temperature exceeds the corresponding temperature limit. Each channel supports programmable temperature limit hysteresis to prevent chattering alarms when the temperature hovers near the threshold.

The typical temperature accuracy of the GXTR302 local and remote channels is ±0.5 °C and ±1 °C respectively. All channels offer a temperature resolution of 0.0078125 °C and a measurement range of -55 °C ~ +150 °C. Operating from 2.7 V to 5.5 V, the GXTR302 is supplied in an 8-pin MSOP package measuring 3 mm × 3 mm for easy integration into various systems.
